Non-reactive Leadership Comment Article

In the traffic of our days
may we attend to each thing
so that patterns are revealed
amidst the offerings of chance.

Rainer Maria Rilke, “Orchard and Road”

We are pleased to share that Comment Magazine recently published an essay by LF president, Dave Hillis, entitled Nonreactive Leadership: Lessons from René Girard and St. Ignatius of Loyola.

In a world that seems irretrievably reactive, Dave describes the kind of leadership of which our world is in desperate need. Throughout 2022, we will be exploring this theme of Non-reactive Leadership, drawing from the deep well of historic and contemporary thinkers, along with the many experienced urban practitioners throughout the LF global network.

We hope you will join us in this dialogue and journey.
